Meet RJ Adler

I built Adler Accounting Advisory through referrals, solving problems, and earning trust. My background is rooted in construction cost accounting, project profitability, and hands-on financial leadership. Today, I bring that experience to cannabis, hemp, construction, and other growing businesses.

During an eight-year fractional engagement, I helped a concrete contractor grow from approximately $1 million to $20 million in annual revenue. I guided its transition from residential to commercial work, helping increase gross margins from approximately 15–20% to 25–40% at both project and company levels. Net profit also improved significantly. My contribution included pricing, financial planning, operational processes, and field-to-office communication.

My work starts with understanding you: your goals, your responsibilities, and the life you want your business to support. Then we connect that picture to the numbers—what your work costs, how cash moves, where profit is being lost, and what your next decision will require.

I’ve helped owners develop more consistent pricing, improve operating processes, navigate business transitions, and make better use of their financial information. I’m especially interested in working with owners who want technology to be a useful part of that progress. I use AI and other technology to support research, analysis, and communication, with human review and professional judgment guiding the work. The purpose is practical: better information, thoughtful decisions, and more room for the human behind the business.
